Ms. Carmie
Shelbon currently serves as the assistant
director at Trinity Lutheran. Ms. Carmie came
to Trinity in January 1998. She first taught
children in the 18-24 month classroom before
assuming administrative responsibilities. Ms.
Carmie notes that she has seen many changes at
Trinity Lutheran during her years of service.
Ms. Carmie is responsible for many of the
administrative responsibilities that involve the
students (i.e. student records, shot records,
hearing/vision screenings, etc.) One of Ms.
Carmie’s favorite things about working at
Trinity are the many hugs she daily receives
from the students. When she isn’t working, Ms.
Carmie enjoys spending time with her daughter
Brittany and reading. |

Mrs. Sherry
Hunt currently serves as the curriculum
specialist at Trinity Lutheran. Mrs. Sherry
holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) from
Tyler Jr. College. Mrs. Sherry came to Trinity
in May 2002. She first taught PK 4’s & 5’s
before assuming administrative
responsibilities. Mrs. Sherry is responsible
for coordinating monthly curriculum themes,
planning with both lead/assistant teachers,
checking/approving lesson plans, scheduling
special events/field trips and maintaining our
center resource room. One of Mrs. Sherry’s
favorite things about working at Trinity is
seeing how the children grow, change and
progress. When she isn’t working, Mrs. Sherry
enjoys spending time with her husband Jimmy,
knitting, reading, playing piano and keeping
their granddaughter. |
