Mission Statement:
|
|
The Prime Timers Ministry provides Christian
fellowship to members of Trinity Lutheran Church
age 55 and above that will bring new and
continuing friendships through social,
religious, service and community activities. |
|
|
|
What we do: |
| This ministry is fellowship
through the sharing of a meal that is either
provided by a “Potluck” luncheon, catered or by
an “Outing” in the local community of Tyler,
Texas. In addition we may have a program of
interest with a guest speaker, playing of games
or the white elephant at Christmas. At the
present time we support the Bible Markers
Ministry and Sermons on DVD & CDs to our
shut-ins. We give support to the Heart to Heart
Visitation program as a number of the Prime
Timers are callers for that ministry. We also
send cards to all of our shut-ins monthly,
birthdays, holidays or other special occasions. |

When and where do we meet: |
|
Normally, we meet first Tuesday
of each month at 10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship
Hall of Trinity Lutheran Church. Check the
calendar for exceptions to date and location.
