The Drama Team provides dramatic support to our
Ignite Contemporary
services and other special events. |

| Why Drama?
|
"Church drama
is an incredibly powerful medium. It makes
people think (or re-think) how they view God and
the world around them. It allows people to
"insert" themselves in the drama and personalize
it for themselves. It draws people in who may be
looking for more from a church program. And,
because we are a media-driven nation, it offers
a level of "edutainment" where people are taught
and entertained at the same time." (Dave Marsh,
Stage Right)
Our actors become "living parables" during
performance. The dramas do not stand alone. They
are meant to highlight the messages as given by
the pastor. We are another tool in God's plan to
spread the Gospel.
What is drama's ultimate function? To bring
honor and glory to God! The dramas performed may
make you laugh or cry, but the ultimate viewer
is the Audience of One....the Name Above All
Names.
