Pastor Art Hill
has been part of our pastoral staff since 1998.
He and his wife, Kim, count their two sons, Nate
and Andrew as precious gifts from God. Pastor
Art is a 1982 graduate of Concordia Seminary,
St. Louis, MO. He has an uncommon joy in
teaching Confirmation and adult Bible classes,
in preaching, and in building his life and faith
into that of others. Kim's love
for ministry is focused on children where she
has tirelessly given of herself to students in
Pre-Confirmation. Outside the church, Kim is an
accomplished fine artist. |

Associate Pastor Rev. Mark Dahn |
|
Pastor Mark Dahn came to Trinity
in the spring of 2009 as our
Associate Pastor, concentrating
in the areas of Family Ministry
and Outreach. He and his wife,
Julie have three children,
Kayla, Nate, and Karissa. Julie
is an elementary and
early-childhood teacher. Mark is
a 2001 graduate of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis,serving his first 8 years
of Ministry in Northeast Nebraska . During that
time, he also earned a Masters of Science degree
in Family Life Ministry from Concordia
University, Seward, Nebraska . As part of
Trinity’s Forever Family, Mark’s driving passion
is to see that each and every household of
Trinity is itself a “forever family” –
marriages, parenting, individuals, and
relationships marked by an active legacy of
Christian faith. Mark looks for opportunities to
bring this kind of health and strength to homes
throughout our community so that the love of
Christ is shared and spread… one home at a time. |

Karl Winkler -
Director of Christian Education |

Karl Winkler
joined the Trinity staff in July 2007, after
graduating from Concordia University in Austin,
Texas with a Director of Christian Education
degree. The joy in Karl's life comes from the
good news of salvation in Christ, and the
opportunity to share this gospel message to
youth and their families. Karl's mession is to
assist youth in their walk with Christ and equip
them to share the gospel. His passions, other
than youth ministry, mostly involve traveling,
playing sports, singing, exploring God's
creation through hiking, and spending time with
friends and family. |

Art joined our staff in March
of 2006. He & his wife Pat lived in Minnesota
until they purchased a ranch north of Edom in
2002. They attended Trinity Lutheran Church in
Faribault, Mn. Their three children: Tim ,Jenny
& Cathy remain in Minnesota . Prior to joining
the Trinity staff, Art was in banking for 40
yrs. Here at Trinity Tyler, Art serves as an
Assistant Communicant Elder and Chairman of our
endowment committee. His wife’s involvement at
church includes volunteering to teach “English
as a Second Language” (ESL), ringing handbells
and singing in the choir. Both enjoy being part
of the friendliest church in Tyler - our forever
family. |
